I’m extremely disappointed with how this doctor’s office handled my mother’s recent appointment. I had scheduled it in advance and brought her in on time, only to be told the appointment was rescheduled — without any prior notice. No call, no text, no email. While the doctor herself is great and has always provided excellent care, the front desk staff leave much to be desired. They were unhelpful and dismissive when I asked for an explanation, showing no concern or compassion — despite my mother’s age and health conditions. ... read more
I was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 ovarian cancer in April of 2022. At Plano of Medical City Dr. Garcia-Soto came in to talk to me and set me up at her clinic in Prestonwood Plano. She did surgery to debulk the cancer and cut some of the bowel. She did a fantastic job. I then did chemo and went into remission for 2 years, which is great, since I have an average of life expectancy of 5 years is what I found on google. If I could give zero stars I would. I usually try not to judge something/someone off of reviews, but the 1 star reviews on here are accurate. I was referred to Garcia-Soto and it went terribly. Her bedside manner needs some serious work. She comes off cold and mean. She never once asked to hear my perspective on things to understand my journey. She never asked if we had any questions.
