My MIL broke her arm over spring break. She has severe dementia and we had to wait for over 2 hours(an hour and a half past her appointment time). On the follow up visit(today), we again had to wait and were there over 2 and a half hours. This is pure torture both to the dementia patient and their care taker. It is like trying to ask your toddler to sit still for extended periods of time, only the dementia patient is confused and has no idea where they are or why they cant move around and go where they want.
