The gentleman that stuck my arm did very well. I barely bled. The staff kept me calm and was generous with snacks to keep me stable while I was donating to save lives.
Always kind and very professional.
Coffee Memorial came to our church (TFC North Campus) yesterday (7/12/2020) to do a blood drive! One of their staff members had a medical emergency! WOW! Everyone of them rushed to her aid, helped her all while still keeping an eye on the people waiting to donate. There were still people coming in the door to donate and they acknowledged everyone of them with a “Hi! We will be right with you! Give us just a second to get this situation taken care of!” They could have easily ignored the other people coming in. They handled it... read more
Business response:
Thank you so much, Shelby! They are a special group of people. They have continued to come to work on the front lines since COVID-19 hit back in March and they do it with the utmost care and professionalism...and safety! Taking care of others is their heart and it shows. Thank you for seeing them and recognizing them! And thank you and Trinity for being a donor and for doing a blood drive when donations are tough to come by! ❤️
Fatphobia is extremely prevalent within CMBC. They refuse to take measures to allow larger members of the community to donate, even though we are more than willing. If they corrected their fatphobic tendencies and erased their fat hatred, it would be a fine place. But they only want to focus on the thin community and shun anyone who doesn't fit their specifications.
Always kind and professional.
I will NEVER donate here again. I came in for an appointment that their staff scheduled and was told AFTER I got there that because my iron had been too low too many times I was not eligible to donate until the end of June, which I would have been fine with, EXCEPT that THEY made the appointment and asked me to come back on the day of this appointment. when I asked why they did that they said they wouldn't do it and were rude to me the entire time I was there. I would love to continue donating blood in the future, but unfort... read more
I've been donating blood for years. I met Penny Stovall while donating when I worked at Whirlpool in Fort Smith. She can talk a blind man out if his cane! I believe she's the glue that keeps Fort Smith and the River Valkey alive and well. An awesome asset. If you don't believe me just go and donate! You'll be glad you did!
Most of the people are very kind and are very careful. Cheyenne did a great job!
