Our family have been clients for many, many years. We moved to Kansas City 11 yrs ago, but have children still living in the Lou who continue to use Dr. Laves. I have personally never had a better vet. He helped save our miniture schnauzer when she tested positive for heartworms. He also saved her from a bout with pancreatitis. He comforted me when our cocker injured his back jumping a fence and helped facilitate his eventual healing and recovery. He got us through having to put our black lab down when he bit a mailman. Great, compassionate doctor and staff. Makes even the most nervous pet feel comfortable and loved. Takes a conservative approach and doesn’t push unnecessary treatment or services.
