I had partial knee replacement done by Dr. Saxena. He was personable and seemed knowledgeable before the operation. However after the surgery was a different story. I had post surgery pain long after I should have and his manner became brusque and impatient with my questions and concerns, and at one appointment he was pretty rude and disrespectful. In addition, the average waiting time at the Pennington office was 45 minutes or longer each time I visited. No longer going to this practice.
Dr. Saxena is professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable.
Dr. Saxena is phenomenal. I had my right hip replaced this morning, got home at 3pm. Pain is minimal, able to walk without any assistance from a cane or walker. Dr Saxena is a tremendous talented surgeon. The entire Rothman staff is very professional and caring. For anyone considering a hip replacement, I would highly recommend Dr Saxena
His incision line was superb.Perfect right knee replacement from a femur fx on 87 yr old . Kudos and many many thanks for saving moms life by giving her ability to stand turn walk again .
I am writing this review for my mom, who had a TKR performed by Dr. Saxena. We were not at all pleased with the experience. Dr. Saxena's operation didnot ultimately lead to a positive outcome for her, and she will need to do reconstruction surgery. We found Dr. Saxena's overall approach and bedside manner to be quite lacking. He was not thorough in the pre-surgery examination of her knee. I started having hip pain and didn’t know where to begin so my primary Dr. referred me to Rothman. I went on their website and watched a video of Dr. Saxena and I was really impressed by how nice and thorough he was in all his information so I decided to book an appointment with him. Dr. Saxena and his team are beyond amazing. He performed complete hip replacement surgery on 6/27/23 on my mother in law after a bad fall. She is 76 and only a month after surgery is walking with a cane and doing very well. Dr. Saxena is truly the best surgeon and really cares about his patients from start to finish. Dr Saxena is wonderful. He explained everything about my knee pain and treatment plan. Definitely will continue to follow up with him.
12 weeks post TKR and I’m doing things I haven’t done in years- like walking up and down steps like a normal person! Everything went smoothly from the surgery, to Recovery to PT. Dr. Saxena is a talented surgeon and was very realistic about how much of a ROM he and I could achieve. I am able to do so much more pain free than in the past 5 years thanks to him!
