I am an optometrist and I took my son to Dr. Thomas. I really appreciate her integrative developmental approach to examining children. My son really benefited from her Body Book program. There is no one quite like her!
The staff at Cimarron Family Vision Center was WARM, WELCOMING and FUN from the second my family arrived. Dr Thomas spend a full hour with my son at his first exam! She was PLAYFUL, KIND and GENTLE with him. Now he asks " When can we go see Dr Amy again??" :) She took time to explain everything to my husband and I and answered all of our questions. The staff offered even more help after his the appointment. We NEVER FELT RUSHED! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
She is aaammmaaazzziiinnnggg! Dr. Thomas is so personable and fun and honestly made this the best eye exam I have ever had! She made me laugh and was so kind and gentle, offering tips for my overall health, head to toe. I will definitely return and bring my children to see her too. Give her a try and actually look forward to your next eye exam.
My son has made excellent progress over the past year going to Cimarron Vision Therapy and has improved his prescription twice. The home exercises are engaging and work more than just his eyes and brain - they integrate his body in many ways too (hands, body movements, vestibular system). Amy and her staff are fantastic.
