Sour Dough Cafe, Arizona Charlies West I go here as often a I can deal with. I find the foods a bit heavy on the gravy side but quite tasty. I do have one thing I don't like and that is the mashed potatoes they serve. UGH. Who the heck want all that garlic in their taters? Not I. I will say the onion rings are super sized and very good. Could make a meal out of just these things. The specials of the day are usually good too.
LOCAL FAVORITE SINCE I LIVE IN LAS VEGAS IT IS HARD TO FIND A CASINO THAT OFFERS SOMETHING THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE REST..AND ARIZONA CHARLIES IS NO EXCEPTION. TO HOT FOR US WE STAYED SEVERAL DAYS, AND YES IT WAS IN THE UPPER 100 EACH DAY. THE 4TH OF JULY MY FATHER IN LAW WASN'T FEELING GOOD, WE TURNED ON THE AC. NEVER GOT COOLED DOWN. WENT INSIDE ASKED ABOUT IT WE WERE TOLD EVERY WHERE WAS HOT. A merely adequate place to stay We elected to stay here on two occasions following same-day surgery appointments both of which had return visits in the morning of the day after surgery. Arizona Charlies was the nearest in location to the surgery center. The casino was the same as all others, the food in the buffet was a small cut above the average in such places. Verrrry Nice rooms My parents stayed at Arizona Charlies when they came to visit me in Las Vegas. I was shocked at how nice the rooms were, and they were pretty cheap. Granted, this hotel is not near the strip, but if you are looking for a great place to stay and dont want the business of the strip, you should think about staying here. This hotel and casino is a vacation in itself!

Clean rooms, but..... The rooms were clean and well furnished. Comfortable except I have a problem with having to pay .75 to make a toll free phone call. We stayed a couple days in this hotel but it was the first time I have ever had to pay to use my room phone. Needing to check in at home left me with no choice but to pay it. I may spend a hundred on the floor and that I don't mind but I do mind giving them my business then having them add this extra charge. Nice Place At one point in time my family and I found ourselves in between houes. We had just moved out of our rental home and our first time buyer house was still awaiting close. We neede a good priced hotel and at last minute at that. I ahd never heard of Arizona Charlies a co worker actually recommended it. They were great I have no complaints. Very Slow Dining Experience Recently visited Arizona Charlie's for a "quick" dinner. We heard it was good. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. Waited 45 minutes, and finally had to flag down a "hurried" employee to ask if they had lost our order. Yes, in deed, there was a problem. They did find our order, and we were served after waiting about an hour. We didn't complain too much, but we expected some sort of apology. Nothing. Just a "hurry up and eat" type of ordeal.
