He doesn't care about the patient. He tries to spend as little time with patient as possible. Sends to some tests. That's it. He doesn't follow up, he doesn't care, he even don't refill your medicines. For treatment eventually you will go someone else. If you are lucky he may give you colonoscopy. It is fast and pays well. That's only thing he does. For any serious liver problem, going to him means accepting to die without any treatment.
Dr. Leavitt did my first colonoscopy and was not only the ultimate professional but was extremely patient with me since I told him ho scared I was. If you need to speak to him urgently he will also go out of his way to call you on a weekend. Something rare these days. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Leavitt.
Wonderful and caring doctor and assistant
Guy really didnt care at all. Didnt want to spend even a minute understanding my situation even though I have been suffering from gastric issues for years...while his assistant is very professional I found him to lack empathy and attention to detail that is really required for this since gastroenterological matters are undoubtedly complex. I have been a patient of Dr. Leavitt for 20 years, and he is absolutely the most knowledgeable and caring medical professional I have ever met. I love his bedside and especially his very conservative approach to using meds and having procedures. The office is run very professionally with little waiting for your appointment. I have recommended my family and friends to him, although I hesitate to recommend too many people , because it might make it harder to get an appointment when everyone sees how great he is :)

Excellent gastroenterologist. Very personable, immediately makes you feel at ease. Listens carefully to you and answers all questions in a way easy for you to understand. You leave the office knowing that you’re in the hands of a good doctor. The office staff is amazing very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t go to another doctor.
