Find another provider. Avoid this man. This guy is a doctor of Neuropsychology & Behavioral Medicine. One should be able to infer from the specialty name that he and his staff would be highly trained and highly skilled in dealing with abnormal behaviors and mental states. That they would have outstanding empathy and understanding for the patients and caregivers they worked with. Not a very good experience, I could echo many of the other one-star reviews. Excessive ego, preconceptions influencing diagnosis, confusing (and inflated) billing- staff couldn't explain several hours of what they billed. When asking questions for clarity, office staff immediately became defensive. I recommend looking for other options.
I was going to take both my son and I to Dr Arias for testing just for our own information. When I had my appointment, Dr Arias noted that I was a veteran and stated that while he supports veterans he doesn't believe they should receive compensation. At this point I knew he would not give me an accurate diagnosis regardless of the outcome of testing due to a conflict of interest. Come to find out he does Comp & Pen. exams for the VA.
