We have been a few times for lunch and dinner and just a drop by to sit at the bar and have snacks. We love this place and it is absolutely worth our one hour drive. All the food is fabulous, the wine list excellent, and the staff great. Yesterday we sat at the bar and Brian, the bartender, was amazing.
We went here for my birthday Sunday, it was our second time at arethusa and as before, it was delightful! The service is fantastic, everyone is friendly and warm. The decor and interior are lovely and the food is perfect. Everything was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back!
My husband and I visited Arethusa al tavolo for our first anniversary last night. We were instantly impressed with the ambiance and the service. With our first bite of the bread and butter we knew we made the right choice. Each course took us down a culinary adventure. The chefs expertly coordinated each dish to perfection. The food was fabulous. The wait staff was accommodating and accomplished. It was a memorable dinner in an upscale environment, lots of flowers and well dressed staff.
Possibly the best dining I have experienced in my life, and definitely the best in Connecticut. We gladly drive over an hour to eat here. Every dish is perfection, and the staff keep the perfect distance to allow you to enjoy the meal and company, but are also warm and human, and extremely knowledgeable. This is a truly remarkable dining experience. Just wonderful.
