I've been seeing Dr. Berge for years and I cannot recommend her enough. I had previously seen doctors who couldn't recognize that I have lived in my body for a very long time, so I am very familiar with it. My first appointment with Dr. Berge was a very refreshing change, because she understood that. I have heard many overweight people complain that they have seen doctors who just told them that they needed to lose weight to solve all of their medical problems. Rude staff that doesn't answer the phone & won't call you back but instead choose to message at the cost of $40. Can't speak for all of the doctors, but ours in set for retirement soon & has mentally checked out. Nearly impossible to get a referral from them.
I've had very good experiences with Arete as a whole. I really like my primary care provider, Dr. Lord. and i've had very positive interactions with everyone else. I don't usually post reviews, but since I saw a few bad ones out there, I wanted to share my perspective.
UPDATED: Dr. Lord cares deeply for his patients and takes the time to ensure they are heard, and helped however he can. I've never been happier with a doctor and I will always see him for all my treatment planning. He has saved my life on several occasions. All that being said some of both the administrative and some of the medical support staff have been rude, unhelpful, won't follow up, are short/dismissive, and I feel like are trying to actually PREVENT me from actually speaking to my doctor who I desperately need to talk... read more
Dr. Lemmons has been a wonderful provider! For many years, my parents have been under her care—even before she had her own practice—and we’ve always appreciated her dedication, warmth, and expertise.
