ARED did a wonderful job at fixing our British, wrought iron, antique bed. The wheel and base of the footboard had snapped off leaving it unusable. I was worried that we wouldn’t be able to find anyone to repair it, but ARED was able to seamlessly reattach it at a reasonable price and in a timely fashion. They were even able to fix the wheel so that it now turns freely where it was frozen in place before breaking. It’s held up perfectly even years later! Ared did a fantastic job on several pieces for us a couple of years ago. They all are still holding up well. If I ever needed to redo furniture finishes again, I would definitely use them. Very satisfied with their workmanship.
We have worked with Edward on three different projects: two tables refinished (one leg was missing), a cain backing replaced on a chair, an antique clock that was in pieces, and chair cushions that were recovered. He was professional and bent over backwards to ensure our requests were met. He maintained communication with words and pictures to satisfy our questions. We love everything that they finished for us and would definitely recommend them to others.
They picked up our table on April 27 to refinish. They told us we would have it in 3 weeks. We kept calling because we were having a party in July and they did not communicate with us. Finally they returned the table the day before the party. They continued to spray it with a silicone spray. We kept a table cloth and covering over the table. The first time we washed the table we noticed so many scratches in a circular motion. Once again we are calling with no return call. ewe paid them $3031.00!
Wow! We’d give 5+ stars if available! This family of craftsman took my husband’s great grandmother’s steam trunk from the 1800s and brought it back to life! We highly recommend them for your furniture repair!!! Their work is amazing and they are true craftsmen!
