not fun – Area is a joke. After spending 2,000 dollars you would think you would get better service. I always take my friends out and they wanted to go to Area ( they are from Ny) after seeing it in so many magazines. I tried to explain the club is already "out" but they wanted to go and quickly realized what I mean. No VIP service, no celebs, overpriced drinks, nothing really great. go to another spot!
Great times! – I was overall impressed with my night out to Area. My boyfriend and I decided to check it out last weekend and being as we are both New Yorkers (he just moved out there and I was visiting him from Brooklyn), we decided we would try to grease the bouncers rather than wasting time waiting in line. not fun – does not present itself as a high end club
Empty Wanna Be Club for White People – I posted my message about this club before, and obviously, this club doesn't want anyone to know what I'm writing about because the club owners had it deleted. It's a club that wants only white people. Although it was pretty empty on a Friday night, they don't care if you're beautiful or you got money. Their first priority was to let whites in. Cool atmosphere, Terrible music – It was alright. We went on a Saturday night, not that hard to get in. The only bad thing was the DJ totally sucked that night and that kind of ruined the vibe.
