I bought a Deluxe steak cheese hoagie & fries with cheese. It was very underwhelming. My sandwich was dry, felt like no mayo on it. I asked for a tomato on the side, I got no tomato at all. The steak was very fatty & hard to eat. The steak also had a hard chard in it, could have been gristle so I’m not gonna complaint that. The bread was soggy in the middle but the end was brick hard. I wish I could echo many others statements, but I just don't see it. Sadly, as a staple of USC, its really taken a turn the last few years. Hoagies and salads are awesome, wings are 50/50, but the pizza is really were its gone awry. I couldn't tell you the last time I had pizza here that wasn't soggy, greasy, and picking it up was similar to picking up a wet paper towel. My kids, who grew up with Ardolino's pizza and will eat anything, dont choose it anymore. I dont know what happened but its unfortunate. Still a nice stop... read more

Best pizza in Pittsburgh. Nice savory sauce, good cheese, nice thin chewy crust. The Italian hoagies are excellent also. Not over stuffed with cheap meats they have just the right amount of good quality meat on the hoagie. Delicious.
