We did a major remodel of our house--roof to basement, including kitchen, baths, floors, stairs, new entry, dormer roof and more. Ardo provided detailed floor plans and written descriptions to be followed. Each phase and/or change of the project was reviewed and signed-off on throughout the process. Ardo Contracting, Inc. did a fantastic job from design to completion on our kitchen. This is the second time we hired them -- the first was to rescue our downstairs after a flood (we have no basement), which they made better than it was before. For our kitchen, we had the luxury of time to research different contractors. My house was in desperate need of some hand to house resuscitation. I had interviewed many contractors and they could neither envision what I was describing nor did they have that honest vibe. ARDO did a great job of listening to what I wanted and providing excellent craftsmanship to rise to the challenge! ARDO was the perfect contractor for our first floor remodel that included the kitchen/great room, mudroom, laundry room and powder room. They have an architect on staff, Jim, who worked with us as long as we needed to get the plan right before starting the job. Since we were bumping walls out it was important to me that the company involved have an architect to make sure that the plans worked seamlessly with construction. We employed Ardo Contracting, Inc. to design and build a two-story addition which included a vaulted sunroom on the upper level and a guest suite below. The work included enlarging and remodeling the kitchen, expanding the master bath, and converting a powder room to a full bath. ARDO built a large addition onto the back of our 33 year old house, consisting of a new family room, custom kitchen, enlarged mudroom, and enlarged and remodeled master bathroom upstairs. The project also included a 10' x 42' front porch, a screened back deck, replacement of all plumbing, upgraded electrical panel, a second heat pump, new roof, vinyl siding, and new windows throughout the house.
