The Hollywood Tour by Architecture Tours L.A. was incredible! An architectural historian and author who has been featured in magazines and on TV, our guide Laura was full of fascinating history about Hollywood, its architecture, the evolution of the city into an entertainment powerhouse, and more! Ann Arbor friends have heard us rave about Laura's fabulous Silver Lake tour & wanted contact info. When I looked up her website, I realized I failed to review our Feb 2025 tour. We belong to a MCM group in Cincy and go out of our way to see modern architecture whenever we travel. DIY is often the only choice but in LA, you get her experience & relationships with owners. Nice mix of riding with a bit of walking.

My friends and I took two tours with Laura, West Hollywood and Silver Lake. She is, in a word, wonderful, a knowledgeable and confident guide to the most interesting parts of LA. Take her tours. You’ll love them, and you’ll learn a lot about the city and its architecture.
Laura provided a fascinating perspective on the evolution of Downtown LA - including insights and locations that the average visitor wouldn't come across.. She's an excellent storyteller with a nice sense of humour - highly recommend this tour!
