Getting answers and waiting and the main hospital takes usually 6 hours minimum so choosing Urgent Care for non emergency situations is the first choice for me. Today's experience was something special. The staff at the front desk was kind, very professional and proficient. The attending nurse made sure to listen to my concerns/complaints and log them in after checking my vitals, then proceeded to run a few swabs for testing. Be careful with BILLING. It will be coded as an outpatient hospital visit rather than an urgent care. My insurance, BCBS Anthem, did not cover the visit. Archbold said they filed correctly and that they have problems with my insurance covering urgent care visits. My insurance said they should have submitted the claim as an urgent care. I'm not sure who to believe, but either way, I was stuck with an unexpected bill. I was happy with my care overall though. The PA was kind and knowledgeable.
Terrible. Went in for help managing my infants symptoms that had been escalating for 10 days. Provider walked in and immediately had in opinion out loud that “he was fine”. He didn’t listen to me and ignored the videos I brought in of my son struggling to breathe between coughing. Offered to do a Covid test but said, “it would be negative since he’s been sick so long”.
