Horrible pricing for scrap. The price they pay for #1 insulated copper wire is $1.50 below what the state average is. Seems like robbery to me. When asked about the rate I was told that I should deal with it and they are just middle men. Having only one other option in Humboldt I have to accept this. Somebody is laughing all the way to the bank.
Love this place. I Drop by every time I'm in town. Its like the old pick-Ur-part places. There is a counterpart in Fortuna, i am not a fan of that one. If you can take your business to Arcata. Better folks working there, and better selection of scrap. They have been working hard to clean up and improve the the flow over the last few years, and it shows. Thank you Arcata Scrap and Salvage.
