Jim has been cutting my hair for years. Recently he has moved from Oak Ridge to Knoxville and is now near Christmas Lumber on Kingston Pike. Skip the new expensive fancy places that are supposed to be the old style barbershops and go here for the real thing. Great haircut and conversation.
Great barber shop
I have been going to Arcade Barbershop in Oak Ridge for years. Jim is the last man standing. He recently moved his operations to Knoxville at 10547 Kingston Pike inside a hair salon. Due to Covid he has moved to phone reservations but you can walk up and he will work you in if possible.
In times past I've had my hair cut immediately after POTUS. Jim, owner/proprietor of Arcade, outdoes that barber. It is an irony that you will never look as you do before exiting the barbershop.
THE BEST!! You will not find a better barber in oak ridge. Jim is very meticulous and personable with every person. If you really want to have a good day take time to do an original hot towel and shave. You won’t be disappointed! Haircuts are $14 and the shave is $12 Cash Only. It’s first come first serve so show up early.
