About Arc Rubber Arc Rubber was initially founded in 1965. In 1977, Robert Johnson, Sr. was hired as Plant Manager due to his extensive background in the rubber industry. By January of 1984 Bob Sr. arranged to purchase the company. One of his first decisions as owner was to move the operating facilities to it current location in Geneva, Ohio.
