RecommendedI've lived in a lot of neighborhoods, but this is my favorite! Aside from being in the perfect location, the management and maintenance people are very nice and take care of the residents. It genuinely feels like home, the floorplans are wonderful, and I couldn't be happier!
This is by far my favorite apartment during my 3 years living in the DC area. I moved from Alexandria. Yes, this was a lot further away from work (DC) but it has turned out to be the best decision. I love coming home to quiet, the surrounding trees and especially love the nature trail within the complex. I looked at 5 separate complexes in Fair Lakes/Fair Oaks area and Arbors by far, surpassed them all; to include the so called luxury apartments nearby. I currently live at the arbors and I will say you can get more for your money right across the street at either Penderbrook or wheel house. I have lived in Fairfax for the past 11 years and I have literally lived all over fair Oaks now I am at the arbors at fair Lakes. The location of this area is awesome it's just the staff of the leasing office isn't that great. This is my experience. Honestly 4.5 stars. Having lived here for better than 5 years, Arbors makes it easy to come home. Attentive staff and a wonderful array of amenities create a pleasant community nestled in the nature that is hidden amongst a thriving and varied commerce. Easy access to transportation options in all directions...planes, trains, and automobiles (plus bike, hike, and bus). And no lack of grocery stores to limit your food creations; two within walking distance, and five total within four miles, not including super centers. Movies... read more
We absolutely love living at the Arbors at Fair Lakes Apartments! It centrally-located around great shops, restaurants, and the Fair Oaks Mall!
I love Arbors. It is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. All the amenities and the awesome apartment interiors are a plus, but my favorite part about this place is the office and maintenance staff. Everyone is so friendly and timely and just wonderful! And I love that there are dogs everywhere.
This is s GREAT community. The leasing and maintenance staff are always friendly, and accommodating. And, the apartments have been recently renovated. I truly love living at Arbors! The office staff and maintenance crew are very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. They really put in an effort to make us feel happy here (for example: they often provide free hot chocolate and other snacks and food around holidays).
