RecommendedJust about everything. It's the go to independent shop for personalized service of your/our Porsche, Audi and other European cars in the Ann Arbor Area.
Some “Car Guys” say Arbormotion is expensive and you shouldn’t pay full retail to have your car’s engine rebuilt or maintained. Yet, it’s these exact yahoos that end coughing up twice much to fix a botched job on their own car(s). Point is, I’ve been going to Arbormotion for years and I know that they’ll keep my cars on the road and me and my family safe. You can’t beat their technicians, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Arbormotion should be your first choice for Volvo, VW, Audi, and Porsche service.
I brought a non-import and aging but still very clean 96 Collector edition Corvette in for some new rubber I'd direct-shipped form Tire Rack (Arbormotion is a recommended installer). After about 150 minutes, I came out with new rubber, a four wheel alignment, a cleaned (no charge) car, and best of all, they DIDN'T break any studs, cross-thread anything, or give me a case of rim rash. Drew and the technician did a terrific job on my 2011 VW EOS w/ 40,000 miles. Before ArborMotion worked on her she suffered from a rough idle at start and the DCT was awful at lunch. The rough idle was fixed w/ the recommended treatment. It's not often I take a mechanics advice because I always feel like I'm being up sold but in this case I trusted the diagnosis and they were spot on. Upon a referral we took our 77 MG to ArborMotion for a new brake master cylinder. Our little "Red" was by far not the most expensive car in the shop, but they made us feel like a million bucks. Was able to meet the mechanic who was going to be doing the repairs and Laura kept us informed during the whole process. Highly recommend ArborMotion, they made a worrisome repair a breeze!
