This apartment complex is horrible. They don’t want to fix anything in here. I had a toilet that was clogged and I called maintenance emergency and no one responded until 1.5 days later. I had to have someone come out and fix it. I have a short in my light switch and they haven’t responded. Also I have been waiting since the summer for them to come and fix the dryer in my apartment. Lastly, I told them I had black mold in my bathroom and yet no one has come. I can not wait to move from this terrible apartment complex.
Been showering in the dark for 3 days now!! Doesn't seem to be of concern to anyone.
Never could get ahold of property manager. Got cockroaches (one building over had them first) and they never took care of them. Tried to make us pay extra money twice but we called them out on it and they dropped it immediately. We'll see what happens when we try to get our deposit back. Judging from the reviews, I'm not holding my breath.
Reported for a code violation regarding balcony supports at our complex. Code says 42" deep post holes with certain types of concrete, with the beam inside of them. Plans with the city indicate 36" holes, which I believe was code at the time. What were they really? Simply sitting on top of the patio concrete pads. Their solution? Metal L-brackets screwed into the posts and the patio pads. All it will take is a few mower deck hits to the beams, and one of them will come crashing down. After reading on line about the practices that this MTH Management team is known for, by not returning the full security deposit, it has now happened to my daughter who graduated from MSU. I was present at the rental unti on the last day that she was in East Lansing. Because of the Social Media write ups about security deposit issues, I requested that someone from MTH be there to do the final walk through with us, so we would be sure to get 100% of our deposit back.
