Great comunity.. This is a very nice upscale comunity and in a great location! it has great floorplans and a nice management team! If you are looking for a nice place to call home look here!
NEVER AGAIN Management is terrible. When I signed my lease the staff was over-the-top helpful then they were all moved to another location. A new set of employees came in and completely changed the vibe of the office. They're extremely rude and do not care about you whatsoever. They charge you a ridiculous amount of money for W/S/G ($70 per month for 1 person) and they always claim it'll be lowered (it's been almost a year of hearing that crap). Nice place to live, just too hot in the summer! I have lived here for over four years and my only complaint is that in the summer it gets REALLY hot in the apartments because there is no air conditioning and no cross ventilation. You can really boil in these apartments when the temperatures go above 80 degrees!!! I wish they did have air conditioning. When my lease is up next summer, I plan on finding somewhere else to live that isn't quite so hot inside during the summer months. The landscaping has always been really pretty... read more
Not Recommended After being told during our tour that you could NEVER hear your neighbors we move in and find out quite the opposite. There is zero insulation in this place and you can hear every movement from above and below you, not good for a place that prides itself in allowing LARGE dogs. Like other reviewers I was also mislead by pricing I was actually quoted 4 different prices for the same remodeled apartment and then when I went to go see it they tried to show me one that wasn't remodeled and charge me even more! Overlook Apartments When I moved there 7 years ago, it was an impressive place to live. It sits on the top of Cougar Mountain and is surrounded by forest, views of the mountains and lake. In recent years they went through several management companies, each trying to improve the property, but not completing any of the work. Some of the buildings have new patios or paint others don't. No bargain I've lived at Overlook for several years and the management has changed hands several times. All versions have been largely disorganized - not notifying promptly of deliveries, failing to return calls, losing requests for maintenance, losing payments. The condition of the property and grounds, despite attempts at improvements, seems to be declining. Overlook At Lakemont is a GREAT place to live! The Overlook at Lakemont is a Great place to live! My boyfriend and I moved into there November of 2008, and already extended our lease with our great deal we have. It is a beautiful place in an amazing area. The landscaping is kept up every week and the management is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone who is searching for a relaxing place to live. It feels like home. The newly renovated fitness center and two pools are a plus too! ***** 5 Stars!
I would not recommend this place! I read the reviews before however I thought to myself, it can't be that bad. Well, it is. The staff do not know what they are doing most of the time. They are rude and very unprofessional. You will have to remind them 10+ times otherwise it will never be done. We had a problem in our master bathroom, leaking from above. do not live here. The apartments look great, but I could hear our neighbor snoring every night. Every conversation, dog barking, couples fighting, and person snoring can be heard through the walls. The neighbors are all loud, and the management doesnât care to fix anything. Our hot water heater went out 4 times in one week, because instead of figuring out the problem they kept throwing spare parts at it until something âtook.â In addition to this, the already high rent has a 15% price spike every year.
