I honestly just had one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Chris was amazing! What really made the experience unique was that he used massage wax instead of oil. It allowed for long, consistent pressure without constantly losing contact, which made the massage feel much more therapeutic and effective. Chris Gomez at Araya Health is a skilled massage therapist, but my overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was that he talked excessively during appointments. In my experience, 15–20 minutes of a 45- or 60-minute session were often spent talking instead of receiving hands-on treatment, making the sessions feel much shorter than what I paid for. Chris was a huge help. I came in with a badly injured elbow, and he was able to treat it while also keeping me informed and engaged throughout the entire session, which I really appreciated.
