He messed up my ankle, still hurts after ankle replacement. My surgery took longer than supposed to.

Dr. Aminian is an excellent surgeon and he has a very gentle spirit. I underwent left foot surgery last week at the MemorialCare Surgical Center in Laguna Woods. I was filled with great trepidation prior to surgery due to a horrible experience from a previous surgery (diff. doctor/location). Dr. Aminian and nursing staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable prior to surgery and to ease my fears regarding my pain being controlled post-surgery. They were very attentive post-surgery.
I am rating Dr. Arash Aminian based on the following items: * I believe that Dr. Aminian did a great job "fixing" my ankle. It has been healing quite well. * Dr. Aminian and his staff were also very helpful in my post-operative care. He did provide tips / suggestions on how to alleviate symptoms & make it easier for me as a patient to cope with my situation. * Dr. Aminian always took the time to listen to & answer my questions.
Can you say, NO BEDSIDE MANNER? Seriously, I don't think I have ever had more disregard for a Dr's advice before. He may have had the right idea, but talk about a harsh approach! When I tried to follow his advice, it was obvious to me he has never experienced intense pain before. I won't be darkening his door again!
He came highly recommended, but I was extremely disappointed. He was interested in scheduling elective surgery right away without doing an MRI and without examining me! He was visibly upset I was not willing to undergo surgery and immediately lost interest in discussing my condition further. He had no suggestions on how to provide relief (I have been in pain over 2 years) and dismissed me within 5 minutes without addressing any of my concerns. I will never see him again, no matter what.
