Effective and untiring organization fighting the good fight.
I support AROC because I think students need to hear about Islamic values from their fellow Muslim students. This anti-Islamic attitude has prevailed for a long time. When I was preparing for a teaching career years ago I naively believed I could present some simple ideas about Islamic culture--not big ideas but types of food consumed in Palestine, for example. I was pressured out of the student teaching program. Change needs to come. Tolerance needs to be practiced in our schools. Thank you.
