My first appointment with Dr. Ara Tilkian was to review the Amiodarone prescribed by the ER after an A-Fib episode. When I asked about diet, he told me all fruit was fine. However, both the hospital doctor and nurse had specifically instructed me to avoid grapefruit because it interacts with Amiodarone.
