Great River View – When we arrived I really liked the exterior appeal of the restaurant but was not impressed with the interior. The decor does not work at all, too dark, and very cold looking. Horrible wall color choice for a restaurant and the chairs were very slippery on the hard wood floor.The candles on the table did not blend at all with the interior theme.The bar had Tv screens with changing scenes of people and it almost looked like it was a fashion advertisment. Go for the view and food, not the service – Well, it all started with what should have been a 9 min ride to this place but we found it about an hour later. We got 3 sets of different directions from 3 different hosteses. Parking was non existent and we had to wait out in the parking lot for quite some time before anyone came out to greet us.
