The Positives: The location is fantastic. Super close to the beach and all the best shopping / restaurants of Waikiki. The folks at the front desk are lovely and helpful. They have beach towels for you to take to the beach. The AC in the room worked really well. Water pressure and temp was good in the shower. The curtains block the sun out very well if you want to sleep in. Bed was comfy. Overall a good “value” hotel. Rooms are showing age. Shower heads were loose and AC did not cool the room adequately. Great location.
Hidden Resort Fees and Misleading Pricing Very disappointed with this hotel. The advertised room rate is misleading because they charge a compulsory “resort fee” that is not clearly disclosed upfront. By the time you add this mandatory surcharge, the actual cost is significantly higher than the price shown when booking. What’s even more frustrating is that there is nothing remotely “resort-like” about this property. It has a tiny swimming pool and that’s about it. Calling it a resort is a stretch.
