I had originally planned to extend my stay by an additional night, but I had to leave after one night because the conditions were unbearable. The room had a severe moldy smell, and the air conditioner did not work at all. I reported both issues to guest services, but they said they could not fix either problem. They only brought a fan and sprayed air freshener in the room, which did not resolve the issue. They also refused to move me to another room and said there was nothing else they could do. While my stay was back in October, I've been meaning to write a review for a while. I stayed here on my first ever solo trip for my birthday, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They very kindly upgraded my room and left a box of chocolates in my room, as well as recommended good local options to eat. I loved the location because I could walk anywhere I wanted to in Waikiki on the strip, and overall had a wonderful experience!
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are clean, there is always water in the lobby so you can fill up your water bottles etc. They also provide you with beach peels if needed. Aaliyah and Yuta were amazing, so polite friendly and professional. The extra benefit of holding your luggage and shower room if needed was so convenient. Don’t hesitate to book because it looks old etc, it’s a very well kept building and right in the heart of downtown.
Nice clean and comfortable hotel. Staff was nice and helpful.
