I recently was finishing the grouting on the tub surround tile on a new Mirabelle Sitka 60 x 30 in. acrylic alcove bathtub when I heard a cracking sound. It appears that I found a weak spot where a bubble in the tub layers resulted in a brittle and fragile area that easily cracked.
