We've had good experiences here in the past, but tonight was not one of those times. We had a party of 8 with 4 kids 8 and under. When we checked in they said about an hour wait. We waited 2 hours. Everyone who had arrived before us and most people who had arrived after us had been sat. We asked to be split into two parties of four and the hostess told us they couldn't do that. Had the lobster bisque and salad with fried oysters...both were excellent. Have eaten here several times over past year and am never disappointed - great food, great service, beautiful setting and excellent Dark 'n Stormy's!
First they do NOT take reservations so if you have plans after dinner forget about them!!! Waited for an hour to be seated on a Monday night! Finally sat and ordered drinks and dinner. New England clam chowder very disappointing to say the least. Still waiting for dinner which its been 40 minutes so far to get. Frustrating to watch all the tables around us get served, pay and leave before us!!!!
I like the food and services, when a very nice waitress take time to speak English slowly with a French customer...
We are from NY and were pleasantly surprised to find Aqua with its good food and smiling staff. Nice to meet Sam who introduced himself and thanked us for coming. Nice personal service.
This is my favourite place in CT . We go whenever we get the chance . Beautiful setting right on the water . Foodies always good. The staff are all very friendly and Rocky is always hands on running food to tables and chatting with his customers . Love this place
