***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE*** I bought the 10 tandem kayaking sessions in good faith because I had such a good relationship with the previous owner and I had hoped to continue the same good relationship with the new owner. As a customer I would come to the shop and rent from them 2/3 times each week. The 10 sessions are managed through a punch card that was issued to me at the time of purchase. Store staff were awesome in helping all, in person, on phone and by email, the crew at the launch area, talked a good safety talk about kayaking, then they had us go to the ocean, get in the kayak and they help you get passed the waves, then went over further ocean safety about the protected areas. Will be back, all did a great job! Parking is the biggest hurdle, so get there way ahead of time, I parked at the La Jolla Shores Kellogg parking lot, just North of the launch area.
Not the adventure I was expecting! For starters I was very excited to check this place out. I have been trying to come here for a while but limited to activities due to a recent injury 3 months ago. I thought it would be amazing to do something fun locally besides the busy life of travel and work with amazing Patients. I needed a weekend dedicated to clearing my mind.
