I had asked friends for a referral to a dermatologist in the desert area for a routine mole check. The first two responses I received were for April and the third one was for another doctor in the same office. They both raved about April and one even said she was the "Secret of the Desert". When I initially met her, I knew she would be perfect for me. Very kind, personable and calm! She had to do a biopsy of a mole and I didn't feel the shot at all. Yay! Loved her. Cindy

My wife was seen by April Ethridge and decided to select another dermatology practice. My wife once worked at Scripps Research Institute and UCLA producing medical journals for the worldwide medical community. I saw April last year for rudimentary dermatology issues because the dermatologist was not available. I served in an executive capacity at both UCLA Med and Scripps and also retired. April is arrogant and lacks fundamental people skills. I also moved when Dr. Messina left West Dermatology.
