I was a patient of Dr. Artis in my early 30s and my experience with her left me with ongoing medical trauma that has negatively impacted how I engage with the medical system to this day, more than a decade later. Dr. Artis and the office team are warm, welcoming, open, and exceedingly knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered and I was given necessary information at every step of my appointment. I left the office feeling informed and empowered. I also received my lab results much sooner than I expected. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience and look forward to my next annual appointment.
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this office was frustrating and concerning. I dropped off lab work that was important for diagnosing why I’ve been feeling sick, and the office somehow lost it. Mistakes can happen, but what made this worse was the way it was handled. Not happy at all with the Doctor, because her bedside manner was cold uncaring and depressing for me. I recently moved to GA and in my search for a physician I was looking for to establishing a relationship like I had in Nebraska for the last 30 years. I was instructed to bring my medicine bottles and when she walked in the room she noticed them and asked why did I bring those, and she looked at me with judgment. Don't waste your time, she's extremely rude. She needs to go into a different profession if she likes bullying and being rude to her patients.
