If you ever see that Appraisals By Michael is coming to appraise either a property you are selling or buying, save yourself the frustration and just find a new lender because the odds are that he'll do a terrible job and few lenders will go get a second appraisal after he does his "job". Shocked! the 1st appraiser (a trainee, which I did not know) came to my house, never asked me anything about any upgrades and walked around measuring rooms and taking photos which I thought was normal having had other appraisals done before. After an hour, another appraiser showed up saying he was the appraiser! Come to find out he was the boss, supposedly training the young man! The appraiser showed up on time and was very professional. He answered all of my questions and even gave me a few excellent tips for selling my home. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends.

Michael is very unprofessional and his team do not know what they are doing. This guy seems to think he is the God of Appraisals while actually performing very poorly. He appraised my house $30,000.00 under market value and I sold well above his appraisal. He is also mean spirited. Save yourself the headache and avoid this appraiser.

This appraiser is a joke. He will not appraise your property but send someone much less experienced to appraise your property. I called him and explained to him that I had a unique property to list and needed someone experienced in the area to appraise properly. He assured me that he was very familiar with the area and they would need to look at comps outside of the subdivision due to the uniqueness of the property. *****Buyer Beware**** I hired this company to do an appraisal of a property and returned a document that was so bad I can't use it as a legit appraisal. After doing some research This company "APPRAISAL BY MICHAEL" has been dissolved and not licensed to do business in GA. *****Buyer Beware*****

Worst service ever!!! Used old outdated comps, ignored the fact that the house was completely renovated I said and out. Appraised the house for $60K less than the purchase price. We had another appraiser come out two days later and appraised our house $150K higher than Michael... I suspect the good reviews are a sham because this guy has tons of horrible reviews that all say the same thing about Appraisals by Michael.
