Appraisal 1 was hired by a third party to do the appraisal on my home so I could move forward with the Refinancing process. Jeff Barabas came to my house on Thurs. Nov. 17 at 1:50 pm and was gone by 2:10 pm. On Monday, he had his report submitted. First, he did not use a comparable that I told him about. It was a house similar to mine that had sold 6 weeks prior for much more than mine and was visible from my bedroom window. Then, he classified my 3 bedroom/3 bath home as only 2 bedrooms/2 baths.
