The Mothership (for Mac fans) Are your kids Apple computer fanatics? Does your third-cousin twice removed always start his sentences with "If I was Steve Jobs..." This is the place for you to take them. It's the only store in the world where Joe and Jane Doe can walk in off the street and get official Apple clothing (T's, sweatshirts, hats), coffee mugs, and those oh-so-cool metal Apple logo briefcase / luggage tags. Excellent This is my husband's dream store. Everything he has ever dreamed of electronically is in this store. He loves to come here to browse the latest accessories for his mp3 player by apple. Very expensive but a very cool store
Don't seem to want my money I wanted to purchase AppleTV or at least a wire to connect my MacBookPro to my TV, I asked 3 different employees for help but I was denied because they were busy doing other things. I became frustrated and decided to buy GoogleTV even though it costs more.
Apple Store I usually have to order any Apple related products online. so having the Apple store nearby has been great. We have 3 Ipods in our house and there have been a few times when one wasn't working and I took it to the store to get some help. I really like the selection of Apple products, that we were not able to find locally. As a result I bought a Mac I didn't plan on. The service is great and the prices are typical for Apple. Good place to shop and get help w/ Apple products.
Pleasant Experience Nearly all of my experiences have been extremely wonderful. For the most part, the staff is knowledgeable, prepared, and helpful. The store is well stocked - only downside is that the place is generally very busy - recommend going during "off" times.
Great Store I love that the employees all know what they are talking about and are very helpful. I had some trouble with my iPod, and they were able to fix it very fast. The time before that, they gave me a whole new iPod even though my waurantee had expired. I know some people are very opposed to Apple products, but the customer service can't be beat!
Tourist Trap or Not If you have lived in NYC for more than a year than this Apple Store location is no stranger to you. As if 5th Avenue wasn't already fabulous on its own, with its high end boutiques wrapped around Central Park. Even general retail locations such as H&M and PINK have renovated their stores to portray a more luxurious appearance for a more upscale clientele.
