Loved it! We had enough people visiting we decided to book the private tour and it was so worth it! Being the last tour of the day it just felt extra chill and all the animals were being so cute. Our tour guide was lovely and patient with our kiddos and the farm itself is so fun to see. Definitely recommend
The farm and animals were all we hoped they would be and our guide, Della, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Kylie was a friendly farm guide. She took time to answer questions asked by kids and adults. The farm is well kept and the animals look healthy. My 10-year-old grandkids enjoyed feeding the adorable goats. Love my new Apple Hill Farm alpaca socks! If you are in the Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock area be sure to book a visit!
My wife and I enjoyed a nice peaceful tour where we were able to interact with lots of the animals. The greeting by the dogs was awesome! It is high up in the mountains which allows for some great views and photo opportunities. Our tour guide was very nice and informative. The rest of our tour group came together, maybe a family. They were also super nice. The energy was very calm and tranquil. I was honestly sad to leave! I hope to be back on our next trip to the mountains.
Took a class on needle felting at the Outpost in Banner Elk. All materials were provided by the instructor. We had a choice of colors for our felted alpaca. The instructor did a great job demonstrating and answering questions. You should be aware, the class is offered out on the covered porch. Lighting could be better (especially if you choose black fiber). Dress appropriately for the temperature.
