I went in to purchase a new Ford van and to trade a Hyundai in November 2013, in the process of the purchase Mr. Turner and Mr. McCormick told me that there was a problem with my title for the Hyundai. The problem was that the mileage was incorrect, it showed 97000 instead of the 64000 that were actually on the vehicle. So they told me that they couldn't give me the correct trade amount due to this issue and it cannot be fixed. Basically I took $1000.00 less on trade because of the issue that "CANNOT" be fixed. Horrible Customer Service – I called in to get a second opinion about a serivce that was being done at another dealership and the service advisor here told me "that Ford would not cover that tow to their dealership"- which I didn't expect or ask about. He then proceeded to tell me that "I was getting too many people involved in my situation"- when I just simply wanted a second opinion. Finance process shady – I went to AVF to look at a used Fusion. I had the financing lined out through my credit union with a great rate already, but they talked me into letting the finance manager run my credit to see if I may qualify for a special rate through Ford Credit on the certified used car. I agreed. The finance guy thought they could get it done through Ford, so I OK'd him to submit it. Service – I bought a used car from this dealer and also purchased the extended warranty. In the 16 months I have had the car, it has been for service covered by the warranty 8 times, 4 times for the same problem. The shortest time it was in the service department was 4 days. They never tell you what is going on and when I do call them, I get different stories, some of which turned out to be lies. To top it off, the last time it was in they damaged both front fenders.

Extended Service Plan – I recently purchased a 2011 Ford SuperDuty. At the time of purchase, I was also sold the extended service plan consisting of "8 oil changes, 8 fuel filter changes, transmission flush, brake maintenance" for the great price of $1500.00...covering all maintenance for the first 60,000 miles". Folks...that means oil change and fuel filter change every 7500 miles on a diesel truck, no other maintenance necessary.
