Comfy & tasty I have lived here since 1989 and have always had pleasant, tasty meals here. And it has been a nice meeting spot for friends. I do have to say that SLO restaurants are generally win-win for good food & reasonable prices. Pleasant staff, nice clientele and fun gift shop!
Apple Farm is an Interesting place to visit Apple Farm is well known in the area. The quaint though pricey rooms are very restful. The restaurant is fair, with a menu filled with comfort foods. The gift shop is very nice and offers a wide range of gifts in a variety of price ranges. Fun spot.
Great Breakfast and atmosphere! Apple Farm has a fun and charming atmosphere! Do not go on the weekend unless you go early! You will wait! Their apple sausage and french toast are heavenly! All of their desserts are yummy also! They have little shops to wonder through, but they are very expensive!
Wonderful Place This is a great place to go. My husband and I visited for our anniversary, we stayed in the hotel and ate at the resteraunt. What a beautiful place and beautiful atmosphere. What a treat to find such a great place.
Apple Farm is well worth a visit! Apple Farm is worth the visit for locals and travelers alike. The hotel is great, and the restaurant and gift shop have so much to offer. The salad bar with a cup of soup is a perfect lunch option!
Marie Calendar's dressed up as an expensive restaurant I do not get Apple Farm. Maybe the hotel is nice, we don't stay there since we live here, but the restaurant is a waste of time. We have given them many tries since they always seem so corwded, we figured there must be something we're missing. The food tastes like Marie Calendar's, but the prices are much higher. They do have it dressed up nicer and it seems like they are trying to be a more upscale restaurant but the food has not made it there at all.
Best of San Luis Obispo! My family & I absolutely love this hotel and restaurant.We've been coming here for years.The hotel is quaint and the service is incredible.The restaurant menu has a wide variety of dishes that will appeal to kids as well as adults.We stay here every time we tour Hearst Castle.It's a great weekend getaway for anyone living in Southern or Northern California! Desserts and a whole lot more!!! The Apple Farm Restaurant & Bakery has been a favorite spot of mine for more than 20 years. Serves locals, (college kids too) as well as the traveler on a weekend getaway. Hearty homestyle food, fresh pastries, and pies are world famous! RecommendedWe were there this past weekend and loved the place. Staff is super nice, great location and beautiful hotel and grounds. We will be back soon. We fell in love with the location.
