Great, helpful people. Very appreciative of the time I spent there.
I enjoyed my stay at Appalachian South. I had an "efficiency" there about three years ago, and remember being impressed with its spaciousness, especially for the price, which at the time was very low. Decent neighbors, usually [but not always] quiet, and within walking distance of the campus. For the price, you pretty much can't beat it. The management especially was very accommodating. I always spoke to them in person if I needed anything, and judging by the other reviews, I think it's safe to say that is the best practice.... read more
The staff is amazing and the units are affordable!
My daughter lived at their Fairview complex for 3 years. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful from before we even stepped foot on the property. We found them to be extremely responsive to any questions. Move-in was simple and uncomplicated. The couple of times that she needed maintenance were responded to on the same day. The apartments were older (thin walls and creaky floorboards) and simple without all the extra amenities (though she did have a washer and dryer in her unit) but hers was clean and secure.
