I moved in at the low entry rate last year. My new lease is estimated at $250 more! I won't be renewing. Theres at least two problematic buildings behind ours: Forst, there's a new student housing building that makes noise from midnight to 7am. The other building behind us (First Hill Apartments) makes a lot of loud noise blaring music in the parking lot. Loud crashes, breaks, and noises daily. It's typically late in the day after 10 pm.
Internet is throttled to 120-130 mbps and I would not consider the internet reliable enough to telework if realtime communication is important. Internet will just randomly go out for 5-20 minutes a few times a day (something to do with their network between you and the ISP). If you need a place to spend 10-12 hours of the day... good price and location. Make sure you can live in a tiny box though, not everyone can handle it. You get what you pay for. I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction with the significant annual rent increases . hwiee initial rent might seem affordable, the reality of living here has proven otherwise due to the steep annual hikes. Each year, the rent increases dramatically, o..s steep increase makes it extremely difficult to budget and stay within a reasonable cost of living. My experience with Apodment Suites at Terrazza has been mostly pleasant. The rent is cheap, and all utilities and Internet are included in the rent. I can't say how much my rent will go up when my lease renews, but for now it's good. The building manager even offered to let me borrow an internet router during my time at Terrazza. The building seems to be maintained well enough, and when the management needed to enter all of the apartment buildings for a toilet problem, they gave good enough notice.
