I have been a resident with Apex Realty for over 2 years and I can't wait to find a new place outside of this agency. I love our rental house but dealing with Apex had been nothing but headaches! Recently, we had black water stains on our carpets from the recent floods. I wrote the agency and Mr. Hendricks about a possible black mold and immediately Mr. Hendricks got defensive. They only receive one star because I can t give a negative one. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ANY DEPOSIT BACK FROM THEM......EVER!!!!!! They will make up bogus charges as to why they aren t giving the money back. If you do rent from them TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING!!! The property I rented from them was okay. The neighborhood was quiet. I had to move because I didn t need as much space as what I had. I cleared the property, had multiple friends over to help clean just to make sure it was immaculate. There is not 1 single person in the entire company that is concerned with customer service. They, including the owner, are interested in YOUR money and how much of it they can get. I managed to get most of my security deposit back because I steamed my own carpets and replaced all bulbs and stove burner pans (if they are dirty they'll charge you to replace them). Renter BEWARE this is not a company you want to rent from – I lived in one of their properties for 4 years. I was under lease for the first 2 yrs, I was on a month to month after that point. Right after my 1st anniversary in the home & another repair that hadnt been made I got Ray Johnson on a call & he had the nerve to tell me that they were in no hurry to get the issues fixed.
