Worst experience ever for my sons graduation. I will never go there again
The flavor was there, but portions were very small for the price. Asiago potato side had to be sent back because it was burnt, I mean literally black. I'd only come back for the pop-overs. Unfortunately, those are only included with purchase of entree. Ducks were cool.
Excellent food, staff and atmosphere! Great up north feeling for the area! Will definitely eat there again soon! :)

This used to be THE place to eat years ago. I am from Brainerd and I now know good quality thanks to my Prairie Bay! Anyhow. We went there last year and was soooooo disappointing. Because I always had great expectations going there but its really not like it used to be. Each course we got was not even hot. I didn't have the heart to complain. I just knew I wouldn't return anytime soon. The popover was good I think. So sorry hope you guys can reclaim the magic it used to be.
Worst service I have EVER had at any restaurant! Went there for an anniversary party, they took out orders before our guests of honor arrives so they could "be prepared" waited 3 HOURS! And still no food, asked to pay for our drinks and leave and the manager had the nerve to be rude to me and blame it on the person who made the reservations! Won't be returning, I got better service at Olive Garden- they messed up my order and gave wrong entree, so they brought the right one, let me keep the wrong one AND gave a $25 gift card... read more
The stuffed mushrooms are awesome!! Probably the best I've ever had. I had the stuffed pepper soup and it was delicious! The popovers are huge and so worth it. The service was great and food was excellent. I can't wait to go back.
