Chic, easy, no pretention, WORTH IT!!! – Six years ago I sat in Jasellynne's chair for a consultation and cut. I must have given her 30 adjectives- like this, but not that, here's a picture, but not exactly. I was so scissor-shy after having not been in a salon forever. Excellent salon for hair cut and color – I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Antonio Prieto for 5 years. After trying out a number of different salons in NYC I finally found the perfect one at Antonio! Pavel cuts my hair and he is extremely talented and a pleasure to work with. Fabulous Salon – I've been going to Antonio Prieto for 3 years now. I think the salon is great. The staff are friendly and make you feel really relaxed and comfortable. Angela cuts my hair and always does a fantastic job - she is also always on time which is a real plus in this city.
Great Cut and Color! – I had a wonderful cut with Nick and full highlights with Michael. I couldn't be happier with the results.
Nick is awesome! – as usual i got an amazing haircut with nick... he makes me look like a victoria's secret model (from the neck up).
Great Place, Nice Staff – I got a haircut at this salon last week and I love it. Everybody was very sweet. Myles cut my hair and he did a great job.He was extremely patient, as I am a very difficult person who changes her mind by the second. He was sweet the whole time and the hair cut came out exactly how I wanted. The prices are great, especially if you schedule an appointment with an apprentice.
great for redheads! – I needed to find someone new to do my color. I tried several places with disappointing results. Brassy and unnatural was not the look I was going for. Michael at Antonio Pietro is terrific. I got exactly what I wanted. My own red---minus the gray. Nick did the blowdry--also very nice result. I will definitely go back there.
Great Place for Junior Stylist Cut – I absolutely loved my cut from Jennifer, a junior stylist! For $45, it was just as good as cuts I've had at Robert Kree for $125+. I've been to Aveda Institute for a $25 cut and had a bad experience. I've also been in the hair model program at Butterfly Studio Salon, but Antonio Priteo takes the cake for personalized attention. I will definitely be returning. The Antonio Prieto vibe is very casual and inviting. I highly recommend it for a bargain cut!!!
The best deal in NYC! – A friend recommended Antonio Prieto to me because of their great apprentice program, so I called and made an appointment to see Myles. He was a terrific and thorough stylist, who had totally new and perfect ideas for how to take care of my hair (which is very hard to control) that have actually worked since then!! I felt very taken care of, since with the apprentice program, apprentices must solicit the help and advice of senior stylists.
