Unique Style I was a huge fan of Urban Outfitters while I was growing up. Anthropologie is the older more sophisticated sister of UO and has a lot more to choose from. The housewares section is fascinating, with small things to check out all the time! Just imagine how difficult this place is to set up, with even the furniture for sale! I love the dressing rooms and everyone is incredibly nice-not snobby. Somethings are overpriced but check out the sale racks for great deals...

: ) This store is one of my favorites to walk through. It's they have some of the nicest looking clothes I have seen.I also love the selection of accessories. I can find unique items to complete an outfit here. Sometimes I just go to browse the store, and end up buying something. Although the prices are pretty high, you can always shop the sale rack. Not to mention you get what you pay for.

Terrible experience w/ rude manager I responded to an online add announcing “open interviews.” I arrived punctually, and generally enjoyed the interview process. I fully participated in the process and gave honest, thoughtful answers to the questions posed by the manager, Anna. Outside of the group interview setting, however, Anna’s behavior was markedly less cordial. She asked me if I had a resume; I did, and handed it to her. She then informed me that I would also have to fill out the store’s application. I agreed,... read more

Expensive Beautiful things Anthropologie makes all girls want to be elegant—the clothes, the accessories, the random goodies—everything is gorgeous and creates a feeling of nostalgia for old times (even if you never lived them). Some of the most beautiful clothes I've ever seen have been in this store—also some of the most extravagant prices. Only shop the sale rack—everything else is overpriced, though it can be quite inspiring!

Cute, Cute, Cute I love this store, it is absolutely the epitomy of fun, girly, items. It is a large store with everything from clothes to house items. Guys need not enter. A lot of the furniture is shabby chic and the clothes are cute and frilly. Most everything is unique. When they have sales, the clothes are very reasonably priced too. Otherwise some items can be a little spendy, but all in all not bad. There's also one located in University Village if you are not as close to downtown.

If you've never ventured into the beautiful, antiqued world of Anthropologie, you should. While the store carries only the most expensive and of course dry-clean-only clothing, the skirts and shirts and shoes are gorgeous and inspiring. They also carry home decor, from curtains to coffee table lit to candles to random, eccentric knick-knacks. You might want to trail a thread behind you, cause you're likely to get lost in the huge store full of beautiful things.

So cute! Anthropologie is the perfect girl store. Well - it would be more perfect if everything was less expensive...but I'm not being picky. This store has great clothing, home decor, fun gifts, and is just generally AMAZING! I get lost in the store for hours, and upstairs there is a section of sale items that always grabs my attention....

Interesting look but steep prices I have enjoyed walking through Anthropologie for years. The original store in Seattle was in University Village. The store always has interesting styles, great sales, and a nice ambiance. That said, the prices on regular priced merchandise are normally so high, I wouldn't think of buying anything unless I really loved it. The store downtown is also nice, but I suggest checking out the sale racks on the second floor for stuff you might actually decide to buy.

Gorgeous stuff for a fancy occasion I stopped by Anthropologie in the Village, just meaning to swing through, but ended up spending a good while inside, just browsing the sales racks and wandering the aisles. This store has great atmosphere and stocks feminine, vintage-inspired clothes with lots of delicate details. The normal prices are usually too high for my budget, but I was pleased to see a lot of good stuff on sale. Whether you're shopping for a special occasion or gathering ideas to craft up your own wardrobe, this is... read more
