top education, honest, gentle, beautiful view from the chair – Dr. Ferrer is just excellent. A graduate of the UCSF school of dentistry (which is tops, by the way), he really knows what he is doing, and he is very HONEST. He keeps a close eye on things but is not going to recommend anything unnecessary. If you do need something done, he tells you everything he's doing, as he's doing it, and is a very gentle person. Dr. Ferrer has been my family dentist for more than 20 years. He is gentle and considerate and keeps checking in with the patient during a procedure ("Are you doing OK?"). He has always presented options for treatment and never pushed me into any procedure that I didn't feel was needed. His treatment rooms overlook the Redwood Shores lagoon with a view of ducks and boats and rippling water--very soothing. His office staff is friendly and helpful.
