I had my first colonoscopy today at Peterborough Hospital. Right from the check in everyone was courteous and helpful. Upon reaching the 5th floor my prep nurse Kelly was very friendly and helped assuage my obvious anxiety. The helping nurse Karen and Doctor Petrasek were very soothing and professional. I left with no pain or trepidation at all. A big thumbs up to the entire hospital and team. Craig Brtnik
This is my third surgery performed by Dr Petrasek, and this man is simply amazing. His professionalism is the best that I have ever encountered. I can't say enough good about him. If there is any new doctors coming to practice in Peterborough, you could learn many things from the man. Thank you Dr Petrozac, for all you do.

During my colonoscopy i waited over two hours in the hallway and im pretty sure it was not him behind the mask who did it. He missed the anal fissure i had causing months longer of pain and told me to go eat an oatmeal cookie for my issues. The only good thing he did was a ct scan looking for colitis and we finally found the issue of crohns. The sad news is he said cause it was only 2 cm of my intestines it wasnt worth the referrel back to a GI. Peterborough has the worst doctors. I went back to durham. Got my anal fissure f... read more
