I live in Dallas. I had a pre-existing implant that I received in 1993. I had no problems with my pre-existing implant other than the fact that I thought the shading didn't match my other teeth anymore. I was told by an employee there that if I wrote a nice review about a new product they were promoting (DentaVibe) and some other good reviews they would only charge my insurance for the procedure i was having done. Dr. Mendez and his staff did an excellent job when I needed a root canal and crown. Dr. Mendez made sure I had as little pain as possible and he and his staff took great care of me during the procedure. Dr. Mendez is very knowledgeable and really cares about his patients.
Dr. Mendez is my favorite dentist, and I have been to many. He is an artist in matching tooth shades. He is concerned about and sensitive to pain or discomfort I experience. He is ethical and concerned about costs. He did beautiful work restoring my teeth. He is a very pleasant person and hires great staff. I have had to have a lot of work done over the past two years and have been more than pleased with Dr. Mendez and his staff.
Worst root canal I ever had. Didn't provide adequate pain killer when he started the root canal. I also had problems with the crown after. After that I went ahead and found another dentist who is a vast improvement over him.
Great Doctor with BAD staff. The Doctor himself is awesome very attentive, knowledgeable and experienced. BUT his staff leaves a lot of doubts in my mind. Their lack of knowledge when it comes to insurance and filling claims is scary. I find it incredible and a shame that I know more than they do about dental insurance. I really like the doctor and the staff is friendly but I don??t think I would go back to his office due to his non-medical staff. The ??business office? knows nothing about their business.

Dr. Mendez is NOT Dr. Harris Dr. Mendez has taken over the practice of Dr. Harris after Dr. Harris retired. He is in his late 30's I'd say, and both he and his staff are extr5emely competent. I have been in for cleanings, and my mother has had both cleanings, XRays and a filling. The clinical staff were particularly accomodation to my elderly Mom, bringing her a blanket for her legs, and very patiently explaining what was going on. BEWARE I went to Harris' office for months thinking he was a good dentist. Boy was I WRONG! I had an appointment that was NOT needed, Dr. Harris forgot he had already filled that tooth. Not only was I charged for that appointment but they tried to charge me for that filling, something that was not even done. I later found out (by my new GREAT dentist) I had fillings I didn't even need.
